What student intelligence profiles mean for teachers
28 June 2026·6 min read
When a teacher walks into class already knowing which topics each student struggled with last term — and why — everything about how they teach changes.
A teacher walking into a classroom of 40 students carries a simple handicap: they do not know, at the individual level, what each student understood from last term and what they missed.
The Terma student intelligence profile changes that.
Before a lesson, a teacher can open the class intelligence dashboard and see — for a specific topic in their subject — which students are flagged weak, which are strong, and which have not yet been assessed.
For subject teachers, the profile surfaces something else: consistency. A student who performs well in exams but struggles in AI-generated revision sessions on that same topic is giving the teacher a signal.
For guidance counsellors, the intelligence profile is a pre-session brief. Before meeting with a student, the GC sees a summary: recent results, wellbeing check-in signals, RIASEC career interests, and whether any subject teacher has flagged a concern.
For the student, the profile is a study guide. The personalised revision session draws from their own weak topics, from their own class's lesson notes, calibrated to their own level of mastery.
